PDNet + is now equipped with a completely new “WiFi Direct Hotspot” feature, which works on all Android phones from version 1.. This allows you to connect computers and tablets to your phone via Wi-Fi, BUT. Depending on where you connect the phone, you will need to install our client application or setup proxy. You can enable “WiFi Direct Hotspot” in PDNet + and then “Help!” Touch the Advanced instructions button.

* If your Windows computer does not see hotspot during the pair, follow these steps: 1. Restart hotspot on the phone.
2. Click “Show all Wi-Fi Direct hotspots.” It checks to see if your adapter supports 5 GHz.

==== FoxFi / WiFi Hotspot Mode (old) ====
The original WiFi hotspot feature is in a separate FoxFi app if you still need it. Many newer phone models will no longer work due to new operator updates. Measurements can also be made if your hotspot is suitable for use (see Figure 2 below). WiFi Direct hotspot can solve both problems. However, the new feature-game device does not support TV or TV streaming devices.

===== USB mode =====
USB mode works on all Android phones (except for some ZTE / Alcatel models). It allows connecting to Windows or Macs. In addition, there is a “WiFi Share” feature that Windows can later turn into a Wi-Fi hotspot so you can share the Pdnet Internet with other devices.

===== Bluetooth mode =====
Bluetooth mode is outdated and you should use Direct Wi-Fi hotspot instead. Future updates may disable Bluetooth mode.

===== Do I need this software software? =====
The first tray is the smartphone after PDNet software firmware 2003. With over 30 million downloads, this is something you want, right? Well … it really depends on how much data rate your phone has. There are 4 types of data plans available from most tors theaters:

1. In your data plan (restricted or unlimited) you cannot activate the mobile hotspot feature on the phone (you will be asked to call your mobile service provider).

2. Your data plan is unlimited and you can turn on mobile hotspot from your phone to use it. But hotspots use “metered” against the cap (say 5g / month) after which the movement is thrown on a crawl. (Winter can’t help it!)

Your. Your data plan is unlimited and you can turn on mobile hotspots from your phone with unlimited LTE usage and throttle restrictions. This plan does not exist or is not planned. However, we’ve found drawbacks on some phone models that allow this.

4. Your data plan is limited and you can activate mobile hotspots from your phone. Mobile hotspots are used under the same data plan.

If your plan falls below 1 or 2, you must use PdaNet +. If you plan to have 3 or 4, then PDNet + doesn’t matter. If you’re not sure what your plan is, using PDNet + doesn’t always hurt.
