Lifesg APP (Moments of Past Life) is one of the strategic national projects in Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative. It aims to provide a set of services to meet the needs of citizens at critical times by integrating and aggregating services across government agencies. It was first made available as a mobile app in June 2018 to support families with children under the age of six.

Since then, the app has gradually added new features to serve citizens in other aspects of their life journey of Lifesg APP. These include an active aging module for seniors aged 60 and over (launched September 2019) and an employee assistance guide for jobseekers (launched June 2020). To date, the app has had over 310,000 downloads.

Lifesg APP provides users with more immediate access to digital government services through the integration of personalized content. The app will include improved navigation, a thematic guide, and a new user interface with the following features.

Features of Lifesg APP

Services Explorer:- Citizens can easily find and access more than 70 government services (out of 12 previously featured in the app). The information displayed is grouped by topics of interest such as family and parenting, work and employment, health care, housing and property, and other frequently used digital services of Lifesg APP. More services will be added gradually.

Personalized dashboard:- Citizens can use the dashboard to find recommended content, access guides that streamline processes like job searches and preschool, and access government benefits through features like a family aid calculator.

Benefits and Support Module:- Lifesg module displays personal information about government benefits and support programs for which users are eligible and aggregates benefits and support information from multiple government agencies on one platform.

Integrated Profile:- Receive and view personal information from multiple public bodies (eg CPF, IRAS) at a glance, with custom charts for key categories.

Inbox and Appointment:- A “step-by-step” view of task completion to guide users through the government transaction process. Inbox serves as a unified touchpoint for notifying users at specific stages of a transaction, for announcements, and for tracking key actions.

The Appointments feature allows users to receive reminders for upcoming appointments or events they have registered for through Lifesg.
